Not sure what to say?

Dear Doris..

I was very saddened to hear of your passing. Even though it has been almost 12 years since your son Bill and I divorced, I always remember all the good times we shared at family gatherings.

When my own Mother passed away in 1999, you became like a second Mother to me. You were always there for me when I needed you and for that I will be eternally grateful.

You will be missed deeply here on earth, but if I know you, you are in Heaven with your...

Doris, I was thinking about all the good times we had together-how we would start to laugh and not be able to stop, how we've been best friends since 7th grade... I thought about these thing late at night-really early early morning of Nov. 1st...then Brenda called and told me that you had gone Home to Jesus. I think I knew before the call. I'll miss the good times.
Always, Sue (S).
