Doris was my neighbor for 13 years. She was such a character. She had an amazing sense of humor, and we were friends. She has not lived next door to me for almost 2 years now, and somehow, the flowers that she loved seem to miss her too...they don't bloom as often, and some have decided to not bloom at all.
