Doris M. (Philie) Fleury

Doris M. (Philie) Fleury, 88, died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Sterling Village after a period of declining health. 

She is survived by her son, Christopher J. Fleury and his companion, Donna M. Martin, and her granddaughter, Lauren Fleury, all of Leominster; a niece, Donna Cost and grandniece, MaryJo Philie; a sister-in-law, Carole Philie and a cousin, Evelyn Burgwinkel.  She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Philie.

Doris was born in Clinton, the daughter of Pierre and Floy (Nichols) Philie and attended local schools. 

A lifelong Clinton resident, she worked for many years at Ray-O-Vac and the Colonial Press before her retirement.

She was a life parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church.  She and enjoyed reading and spending time with her granddaughter. 

Doris’s funeral will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church Street with a Mass at 11:00 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union Street, Clinton. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour at the funeral home on Monday morning, August 9, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral Mass.  Flowers may be sent or donations may be made in memory of Doris, to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
