Doris C. Foss

I met Doris when she was at Pond View Acres. I have a therapy dog named Claire who Doris loved. She would sneak pieces of her lunch or dessert to Claire when she thought nobody was looking.
Both my wife and I visited Doris in her brief stay at Rochester Manor and later at Colonial Hills. I made her a wooden cross for her bureau when my wife and Claire and I visited her about a week before she passed. She was doing poorly, and Ida, my wife prayed with her. Doris was an incredible lady. She always had a smile on her face and always had a kind word for everyone at Pond View Acres. We will miss her.

Pam, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom.

Although I did not know Doris or her family, I want the family to know that in her passing I can see what a tremendous loss it is for allof you . She did something that I am sure that she would never imagine. She brought a smile to my face with her "Words of wisdom" I am so glad the family shared her wonderful thoughts with someone like me. I ask God to bless her and the family
