Not sure what to say?

Dear family members, I knew your wife/mother for over 20 years in my role as a bank supervisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She was a true professional and friend who did her best every day. The state of Louisiana is indebted to her for her many years of diligent work in maintaing a safe and sound banking environment for all of its residences. Sincerely, Marion Rivers

How blessed I was to meet Doris Gunn. The last time I saw her she and I both shed tears wondering if the experimental treatment was going to help her cancer battle. She was a strong leader and went to see her God with a strong human fight. I'm enriched because of who she was. God Bless her family. Mell Schexnaildre and OLOL Voice Center

As a state banking commissioner, I worked with Doris on a national level for many years; our friendship was invaluable. When I think of Doris I remember so many wonderful times we had together. We are blessed that she was a part of our lives. I am greatful I made the trip with other dear friends to visit Doris and her wonderful family last fall. She will be sorely missed.

Doris loved to fish, and she and I took a chartered fishing trip right after 9/11. We had a memorable weekend, and she will be sorely missed by this cajun fishing buddy.

A true professional, a lady, and an irreplaceable friend to banking and bankers. I will miss her.

Doris left her mark on all she met! I truly expected her to come dancing down the aisle of St. Patrick's, laughing at all the tears in our eyes. And no doubt, she is spreading joy and cheer in Heaven, just as she did in our lives. I was blessed to know her.
Thanks Be to God for his gift of Doris to us.

It was an honor and a blessing to be in Mrs. Doris' company during this brief time. She was a special lady and a true gift from God. Our heartfelt condolences to the Gunn family during this most difficult time. Our prayers are with you all.

I worked closely with Doris for 4 years while serving as Deputy Regional Director with the FDIC in Memphis. I am extremely saddened by her passing, but thankful for having known Doris. Working with her was always a joy and she will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
