It is hard to categorize the many ways Elaine touched my life: friend, boss, godmother of my son Byron, neighbor, advisor...well, just so many ways. What I can sincerely relate is with Elaine as a friend, my life changed. Her way was/is to touch people and care for them. Love you, Elaine.

Elaine was both a client and a friend. I had such great respect for her in both roles! She put her heart and muscle into helping Texas Health grow. She was also a mentor to me and to others. At pivotal points in my life she gave me good counsel. I´ll appreciate her for the rest of my life.

I'm sure that Elaine is starting a Dining Diva chapter North. I talked to her a few hours before the ambulance was called. She was in great mood and asked, "What can I do for you?" Typical of Elaine. She was a great friend to both Alva and me. I will miss her terribly. Karen Cage
