Not sure what to say?

I am happy that my children and I could be a part of her 100th birthday celebration. Having Michael and Lauren around her was great for giving them happy & beautiful memories of their Great Grama and allowing Doris to fulfill her wish to feel their love, one more time in person.

As I return to my normal life in Florida, there is a mix of sadness for the physical loss of her but also a warmth from all the memories of her that I was able to share for most of my life.

God bless you...

i have alot of great memories with aunt doris from my child hood, i love you and i will miss you so much.

We were saddened to hear of the death of Doris. My mother, Lizzie Lathrop is also at Van Duyn. She and I visited Doris in her room. My mom was pleased that she played cards and was looking forward to playing with her. She promised my mom she would come out to the dining room for dinner knowing that my mom was there also. Mom was very pleased that she was included in Doris' 100th birthday party.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I will miss talking to her on the phone. I used to do her hair when I lived in Onon. Hill. She was a great lady.

Doris, sister to Darrell Sr, Lona, and Lillian. Aunt Doris outlived them all.
Aunt Doris was very alert right up to the end, looking for someone to play cards.
She will be missed by all.
She is with our God now.
