Doris (or "Dottie"as we all knew her} was a caring and wonderful aunt. She moved to Massachusettes with my uncle and their children many years ago. I visited up there on a number of occasions over the years (for weddings on several occasions). She was always bright and cheerful. Her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews will all miss her.

Our condolences to the family. May God fulfill his promise of binding up the brokenhearted. Isa 61:1

Our Loving Heavenly Father promises to be close to those who are crushed in spirit and brokenhearted. God promises to hold your family's hand and give you the strength to keep going.

Isaiah 40:29-31

Mrs. Higgins was our son Guy's first grade teacher many years ago in the East Longmeadow school system. She was the kindest and most considerate person toward her students and we have very fondly remembered her wonderful attitude and kindness through these years. Wish all educators had her outlook.

I remember Mrs. Higgins very fondly. She was my first grade teacher in East Longmeadow. She always made reading so fun and interesting. She was instrumental in not only teaching us to read but to continue our passion in reading and literature. I can say for myself and my classmates that she will be remembered very dearly. God Bless.
