Not sure what to say?

My Great Aunt Doris was a very loving, caring, and warm Aunt. I will always cherish our visits we spent with each other. I’m so thankful that I was able to talk to her the day she passed, and will never forget that last conversation we had together. She was a wonderful Aunt and always said the nicest things about my father. She will be truly missed.

Doris and her mother were our next door neighbors on Day Hollow Rd in the 60's. They were wonderful neighbors and gracious ladies!

Today is the memorial service and I am writing this as it is going on. Although I am not there, I am thinking about it here I Colorado.
I personally want to thank all Aunt Doris’s neighbors for there support throughout her life on Day Hollow Road. I would call her every week and she would always tell me how nice everyone is and the wonderful food that was brought to her.
My memories of Aunt Doris were of always being there for me as I was growing up, all the sports that we were in that...

Our heartfelt sympathy to Doris's family. Our mother, Lois Midglely Wood was "Holly's" dear friend since school days and she had shared many joys and sorrows with our family. They spent many hours playing bridge and attending U-E footbal games as members of the booster club. They had a special friendship and now they will continue that bond in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dale, Chris and families,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Aunt Doris. By reading the obituary, it sounds like she was a spunky lady! Our sympathy goes out to you in your time of sorrow.
Love,
Judy and Tommy and family

Dale, Annmarie & Bethany,
My sincere sympathy for the loss of your Aunt Doris. She was a great lady and I enjoyed meeting her and having the opportunity to spend some time with her over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I went all through school with Doris and then her sisters lived just a couple of houses from us years ago in W Corners. Sorry for the nephews and nieces who we knew very well.
Ken and Jean Cunning
and Bob Cunning, too

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

I will fondly remember all the lunches Cousin Doris and I shared when we lived in NY State, as well as the family reunions at Eldredge Park every August for Grandma Holly's birthday. She, and that wonderful sense of humor will be sadly missed.
