Doris J Cato, age 76, went home to be with the Lord August 25, 2017. She was born October 6, 1940 in Florala. Doris was a loving mother and wife. She loved church and singing in the choir. She worked at Franklin Ferguson for over 30 years and managed the Tom Thumb for 20 years, before retiring in 2006. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Cato, mother and father Marie and Elvin Wang, brother Royce Wang.

She is survived by daughters, Diane Franklin and husband Sam of Laurel Hill, Brenda Turner and husband Jimmy of Thomson, GA, son, Michael Cato and wife Sandy of Laurel Hill, grandchildren, Amanda and Brandon Odom, Kim Grey, Crystal and Ryan Smith, Lindsey and Joey Cato, Rebecca Byrd, Brenda and Jennifer. sister Peggy Wang, sister-in-law Mary Wang, 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Doris Cato will be Monday August 28, 2017 from Evans Funeral Home with Wendall Ard officiating. visitation will be  Sunday from 4-6PM at Evans Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Seva Cemetery.

Miss Doris was someone who I always looked forward to seeing at the Tom Thumb she always had a beautiful smile for me! May peace be with her now and all her loved ones!
