Doris Chapman Johnson

I fondly remember Doris when I worked for the Town as a police officer. She was always very helpful and a great representative for Old Lyme. I am sure my parents, Ernst and Ruth were friends with Doris as they were instrumental voices for the initial Senior Center. May their souls join up again in Duck River.

Rest in Peace Doris, a life well lived

I first met Doris and Ted in 1977. We as a family enjoyed many Christmas and birthday celebrations together. Mom made it to Lacross events when my children were involved in that sport. We enjoying good laughs and great traditional recipes during the holidays. It wasn't until we both retired and I was able to visit and spend more quality time together. We enjoyed making cards for residents at Bridebrook. Doris was a very talented individual with a big heart especially for her grandchildren....
