Doris Potts Jones, 87, entered the portals of Heaven December 17, 2018. She was 87 and loved by her family and friends.
Doris married Bob Jones June 1, 1948 in Fouke Arkansas. They moved to California and in 1958 she and Bob opened Bob's Market,
a small grocery store, in Manila California. There they made lifelong friends and operated the store until 1972.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Bob Jones, two brothers, Dewey and Billy Ray Potts, four sisters,
Macie Tubbs, Audrey Hardin, Bessie Marsh, and Esther "Tink" Carper, her very best friend, one son, Julious “Maynard” Jones, and
one grandson, Eric Jones.
Survived by her loving children: Norma and Darold Baskette of McKinleyville CA, Eva and Jim Long of Fouke AR, Paul Jones of
Arcata CA, Janie Lowrance of Azle TX, Frances Jimerson of Bristow Ok, a daughter- in-law, Lavonne Jones of Lebanon OR and a
former daughter- in- law, Lynnea Jones of Doddridge AR.

A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 P. M. Friday at Fairland Holiness Church with Rev. Lloyd Shuecraft and Rev. Darrell Littleton officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Fairland Holiness Church from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M.
