It is 13 years later, 2025 since Ms. Doris took flight to her heavenly home. Alot have happen since then. Her beloved daughter-Monica is resting beside her. Ms. Doris will never be forgotten. When I visit my mother's grave. I often stop-by and pay homage to Ms. Doris and Mr. Pete and the rest of the Joyner Family members that are laid to rest at Oak Hill. I have so many fond memories of Ms. Doris. One in particular was when I informed her I received my vocational nurse's license-LVN. She was so overjoyed and happy that it showed all over her face and reactions. Dear Family,
Iworkedwith Ms Joyner onthe Med. Surg. floor of old LMH for 3 yrs. and she was such a delightful lady and a wonderful nurse. As a new graduate I learned much from her. I know that I will rejoice with her in Heaven as I pray each of her loved ones will. God Bless, Gail Ponessa ( Lyon)
