Not sure what to say?

Dear Gene & Family:
As you know, Doris and I were friends during our high school years and she was a very special friend in many ways!
I have so many great memories of the fun times we had during those years and the correspondence, phone calls etc. in the years to follow.
I wish to extend my sympathy to all of you and we are so fortunate to have known her through her journey of life!
In sympathy and friendship,
Lois (Kunkel, Berger) Steere

John - so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I just lost my mom in november and understand how you are feeling. your family is in my thoughts.

Gene, John & Family,

There are some people who simply have a way of making everything better just by their presence, and Doris was one of those very special people. Her smile, her energy, and the way she just lit up a room will be greatly missed. Know that we share in the great sadness of your loss, and we're praying God's peace and comfort for all of you.

Love,

Please accept our deepest sympathies. Doris was a wonderful person.
