Doris was a special cousin. Family and her Czech heritage meant everything to her. I admired her for all the times she and Benny made our Sykora reunions . She would make it to so many events . She had many many friends. I could see Robert waiting for her as she entered Heaven and both are talking up a storm and doing a lot of laughing. She will be missed by many.
Due to illness, I will not be able to attend services but your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Theresa and Bob...

Doris was such a wonderful person that impacted many lives. I have great memories of working and playing at the Czech Club. While she was a hard worker and got a lot accomplished, she also liked have a fun time. I will always remember those fun times especially the dances and traveling. Now we have another angel in heaven to take of us. RIP dear friend! Love you!

Doris was an extremely gentle lady, very passionate about anything she took on. She welcomed me with open arms into the Catholic Daughters when we moved to Cuero. My heart is saddened, but I know she is in a better place and not suffering anymore. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

When I met Doris, she welcomed me with an open heart. She adored my son, her great grandson, and was always loving towards us. Although I didn't know her long, I feel a great loss in my life.
