Not sure what to say?

Doris was one of my hero's. I shall always value and remember her laughter, her generous spirit, her ability to love deeply the many God brought her way. I loved her commitment and joy in her family. I am thankful that the one who rewards us promises to multiply the blessing we have been many times over in the next life. I know her cup is running over. May God bring great comfort to you.

Doris was one amazing person....She was a lover of God and lover of people, and she radiated love wherever she went. She was always looking for opportunities to give it away, and she made the most of every one of them. She will truly be missed.

Thanks so much to all who have remembered Doris. All who knew her know she is singing right now!

a stranger was a friend Doris had yet to meet

To the Lahage family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Lahage was my very favorite teacher at Cohasset High School. She was and continues to be an huge inspiration for me. I wall always remember her.

Dear Ed, Jean, Miriam and all Doris' beloved family,
Though Doris is now gone from us here on earth, the ways she enriched my life and all those who knew and loved her, will continue to live on.
I was touched by her warmth, generousity and love for her family, friends and strangers. She lived, laughed and loved well.
I will especially always remember my last visit with Doris in January that turned into a real old-time hymn fest. Her love of the Lord always brought laughter and joy to...

DEAR ED, MIRIAM AND JEAN,
SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, AND MINE. DORIS AND JESUS WERE BEST FRIENDS AND I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL AND HONORED TO HAVE ALSO BEEN BLESSED BY HER FRIENDSHIP.
I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO HOUSE SIT IN THE "LAHAGE PLYMOUTH MANSION" WHILE THEY WENT TO FLORIDA, AND CONTINUE HER HOME PRAYER GROUP. SHE WAS ALWAYS A PRAYER WARRIOR.
IT WAS SAD WHEN I WAS ASKED TO HELP CLOSE THEIR SOUTH MEADOW HOME FOR THEM, KNOWING THEY WOULD NOW BE PERMANENT FLORIDIANS. I...

Dear Ed, Miriam & Jean,

We were so blessed to have known Doris.

From the first time we met her at home group at the Collagans, we were charmed by her laughter & ever-cheerful spirit; then challenged by her joy & her boldness in sharing the love of Christ so freely.

We have such lovely memories of our friend to cheer us.We want you to know that you are all in our prayers at this difficult time.

Dear Ed, Jean and Miriam,
We know that Doris is singing and dancing with the angels, and probably leading the chorus. She made an impact on all of us. We loved her and will miss her humor, kindness and generous spirit.
