Sorry to hear the news. I worked on the CFD with brother Captain Jim Laverty and his son Jeff Laverty. I ran into Gerry Lapointe Sr., a famous ocean sailboater & Jr., A HFD Lieut. @ general alarms in Holyoke many times - all wonderful people.
