Read MoreI work for Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley. Doris wanted to have Jewish Holiday programming at Moravian Hall Square. Because of Doris, we began holiday programming for Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah, and Purim. My favorite celebration was a purimspiel where Doris played Queen Esther. With her spirit and spunk, she made a mark on my life and in my heart.

I have always known Doris as we are related on the Merkin side of my family. Doris has always been a dynamo of a gal and she will be greatly missed but always remembered for her caring and kindness. I left Easton sixty years ago but during an occasional visit back I would always have a quick visit with Doris. My condolences to the family , especially Larry & Shari. Her memory will always be treasured.
