Not sure what to say?

I just heard about your loss. We were all blessed to know Doris. For me, she was a beautiful lady with a wonderful kind spirit that smiled at me one day. Her smile was a gift that she gave to all receptive souls who saw her creative spirit. I still have her beautiful early 1800´s bureau that she proudly sold to me almost 35 years ago. Thank you Doris. I will continue to take care of the bureau, and when the time comes, I will pass it on to a like-minded soul to cherish and enjoy. Continue to...

To Mrs Little Family, My name is Lynn. I was Mrs Little's neighbor for at least 15 years on Fort Dupont Street. I recently found out that Mrs. Little passed and my heart was heavy. Needless to say, Mrs Little was an incredible neighbor! She was so very warm, friendly, kind, creative, and very smart! She would share her life with me and I found ease & comfort in doing the same. I found her to be extremely kind and loving! She would sit in her car for long periods of time before she...

To Sheila Angie and Tammi and family, I am sorry for your loss. Doris was a lifetime friend. I can't remember how old I was when I met her I think in my twenties and we became very close friend and she has been a life long friend to me as well as her family. When I think of her I can only smile and remember all the conversations we have had over the years. She will always be in my heart and I will always cherish our friendship. Love always Darnell

Dorris, your Eastern Market family will miss you. We remember the buttons, fastidiously grouped together by color and style and then tied onto these mesh sheets cut out especially to display them. We called you the Button Lady, because that's what we do at Eastern Market. And while you haven't sold at Eastern Market in over 10 years, like yesterday, we can see your smile, hear your stories, and remember your kind, firm voice. Shelia and Angie, our sincere condolences to you both and all of...

To Sheila, Angela, Tami I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. I know losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. Your mothers goodness, caring and wisdom will live one like a legacy of love that will always be with you and the family. May that love surround you now and bring you peace. My deepest sympathy, Linda Langford Bing
