Remembering when we first met Chaplain Njus in Hawaii. He was our Division Chaplain, shared pastorate of Lutheran Worship Group, and became a friend. The friendship continues, even though Irv passed to glory six years ago. Thanks, Irv.

I will remember Irv as kind, approachable, encouraging. When he and Marian would visit us in North Dakota, I always felt he was genuinely interested in what I was up to. He was a good man.
