Not sure what to say?

Wow, I can't believe I missed that one of the most important person in my life passed. Dee and I had been in touch, but lost touch last year.

Dee changed my life. She was my inspiration. She put me on the path of being a teacher when she hired me to work with her at Ellis. She believed in me, she mentored me, she celebrated my marriage, she made my son one of her special quilts....

I think of her every day when I stand in front of my science class and teach girls at...

Rest in Peace.

Mrs. Malter made a huge impact on my life during a very difficult time, and I am sure she did the same for many others passing through her classroom. She was my favorite teacher of all time, I think of her often, and I will always treasure my memories with her. My heart and prayers go out to the Malter family. She was a star twinkling in a sea of diamonds, and will definitely be missed! ❤

Dee was a gift to our quilt guild and our adventures at Camp Kon-O-Kwee. She was always interested in others, humble in her creative talents and a remarkable jovial personality with a very generous nature. She will be missed greatly.

Doris was my Thursday afternoon buddy! I will miss her. No matter what she always gave me a smile and touched my hand. Bless you all. Susie Meta (tres Jolie)

Dee Malter was an amazing woman! She continued to share her time and talents with us at Ellis after her retirement by returning to talk to our 5th graders as part of our environmental unit at the end of the school year. Thank you for sharing her with us!

We offer our condolences. We pray in your behalf, and we offer the hope of welcoming back our loved ones on a Paradise earth. Psm 37:29

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. My husband, now deceased, Mark Walker, was a member of the science faculty at Ellis from 1975 until his death, and we spent many wonderful times with Dee. She was a remarkable woman, and I know that she will be missed by many.

I treasure the time our antique car tour matched your Cape May vacation. Was that 2008?
