I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Doris. She was a great inspiration to me. She helped me feel worthwhile about myself. She and Uncle George inspired me to go to college and become an engineer. She always made time for us and had such grace and humbleness. I have very fond memories of her!

Dearest Doris, a second mom to me all my life. Always cheerful, even while perplexed by the politics, always ready to be helpful. The finest role model, and a personal friend. Always supportive: when I would feel down I would call, we would talk (not about my problems!) and I would feel so happy. Many the visits in the beautiful house on Panoramic; many the outings, from lectures on Manchu Picu to sailboating on the bay. Always in my heart, and the memory of all the people who love you.

I am close to the whole family, and particularly to Christina and Zara, for the passing of the dear Doris: I have been able to appreciate her, even if I never met her personally.
Eternal rest for her and my deepest sympathy for each of you.
