We are the grandchildren of Doris's dear friends and neighbors, Evelyn and Theodore Bartell. Doris was an elegant and vibrant figure in our childhood. She moved through the room with the grace and confidence of a woman many years her junior, but she also had the warmth and kindness of a grandmother. here is "a time to weep," says the Bible. (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4) Surely the death of someone we love brings on such a time. Shedding tears of grief appears to be a necessary part of the healing process. Please take comfort in the Bible.
