To the family and friends of Doris Mavis, please accept my sympathy. May you find comfort knowing that those who died, God keeps them in his memory. And at Psalms 116:15 they are precious in his eyes.

As a fellow member of St. Lukes, I knew Doris for years as a warm and elegant woman who was generous with her smiles - and that gorgeous silver lock of hair - what a trademark! It seemed so fitting that such a striking feature be part of Doris.

I will miss her.
