Funeral for Doris Lavoda McKay, 78, of Moulton will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Neal Fowler officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Mrs. McKay, who died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton, was born Jan. 3, 1929, in Moulton to Walter Way and Ethel Naylor Way. She was the owner of Doris’s Casual Wear. She was a member of Moulton Church of God. Her husband, Leonard Eugene McKay, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne McKay and his wife, Joan, and Bobby McKay, both of Moulton; one brother, Waylon Way of Moulton; three grandchildren, Allen McKay, Joey McKay and his wife, Rebecca, and Amy King and her husband, Joe; and three great-grandchildren, Briley McKay, Andee Brooke McKay and Lucy Caroline King.
Pallbearers will be sons, grandchildren, and Danny Way and Joe King.

Sorry to hear about Momma Doris. Danny Way is my best friend and I LOVE HIM dearly. I know how much she meant to him. Bobby & Wayne & Joan..you are in my thoughts also. I know she will be missed. She always had a smile for everyone she met. God be with you all.
