Doris's name always brings to mind the stories of my Aunt Fran that started with "Doris, Bob, and I", as the 3 of them spent a lot of time and adventures together, which Fran often related to us when we were young.

Life can bring with it a wealth of emoations including both joy and pain. Unfortunatly the past few years have been full of heartache- not just for my Grandmother, but for those of us around her seeing her suffer. Now that this time on earth has passed, may your heart and soul find peace and comfort- you are in our thoughts and prayers constantly Grandma.

We are very sorry that your loved one has been taken from you. May you enjoy many memories of her life with you, especially all the good times.

Unfortunately, the memories of my grandmother have been influenced the past 10+ years by her battle with Alzheimer's. Much like a cloud spreads across the brain of Alzheimer patients, a cloud of uncertainty and frustration has spread also across my recent interactions with her.
