Not sure what to say?

My mother is Maxine (Lawrence) McSwords and was a classmate with Doris and Ivan at CBS. My mom passed in 2011. She grew up in Corinth, attended the church at Lystra where Boots was preacher I believe. We heard good things about Doris and Ivan. Sorry for your loss.

Odor Family, Chaka and I are sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I was so blessed to have had Doris in my life. She was a beautiful Christian lady who led by her Godly example. Her smile was precious. Her beautiful notes touched so many. Sending love & hugs, Jean Lee

We count it a privilege and honor to have had Doris in our lives. Her wisdom, faith, smile, and caring nature made her special. We will remember Doris as a true friend and reflection of Christ.

Well done, good and faithful servant! (Matt 25:21)

Love,

Cindy & Jeff

If not for you, Doris, we would not be members of FCOC for over 30 years!! Thank you for inviting our boys to VBS those many years ago!! You and Ivan were wonderful neighbors ...we enjoyed your roses, brownies and birthday cards!!! You were loved by many!! Hugs and prayers for your family!! ❤

Doris was a special lady. She was always so kind, sympathetic and loving. Heaven has gained a shining angel, and glory be to our Lord and savior that she and Ivan will be together again. We will see you both in heaven, and thank you for being a wonderful friend, Doris!

Aww such a sweet, loving, generous woman. I’ll never forget her request for milk if there was cookies or cake for dessert, and her love for dominoes.
She touched so many lives and she will be remembered for her strength and love for Jesus. Cherish all of your memories.

To a very dear neighbor on Grand Street in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan...you will be missed greatly. This Angel will be well received in her eternal resting place.

Doris was a very special, godly lady. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family of this precious soul. I’ll never forget she and Ivan. Such special, sweet people! Our loss, but heaven’s gain.
