Doris and I have been friends for many years. We met at Grace Episcopal Church and at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church where she transferred. She was a very loving, giving person. Her conversations were interesting, and she was always interested in what was happening in the world and in the lives of those she touched. I ran the Kent County Public Guardianship Program with Sue Cook for many years and have to say I was blessed to have had the chance to get to know Doris well during our years of working together.
