Not sure what to say?

Dearest Doris and Family,

I will truly miss your sweet smile and humor. Always kind to other and so thoughtful of others. When she lived at Sunset Gardens, I remembered her always helping other at the Center’s dinners and bringing little trinkets for other to enjoy. Some of the trinkets would sing and other dance, all real cute and all enjoyed.

Doris lived next door to my Stepmother Lina. They were the best of friends. Lina passed November 14, 2009. I sent Doris a...

Doris is missed by so many here at La Dora! She made many good friends while she lived here, and, her absence is felt by us all. I, personally, adored being around Doris, because I never had to guess at how she was feeling or if she wanted anything...she always let me know exactly what I could do to help, and, I appreciate that direct honesty! I will hold Doris and the Patton family in my heart and mind with respect and love for all of the days of my life. I am a better person for the...

My grandma truly was one of a kind...She really did live life, and I am so fortunate to have had her be such a big part of my life. I will carry a part of her with me always.

We mourn the passing of a wonderful lady. Doris was such a creative, fun-loving force in our lives growing up, especially when our mom would share memories of living next door to Doris, "Big" Pat, and "Little" Pat years earlier.

She was even more fun in person. We will fondly remember the shared times we had with her. When she came to visit, she always made her visits memorable.

She will truly be missed.
