Doris, I miss you and the City so much. Thank you for being so generous to my dad and I. You have given me great memories that will last an eternity. I know You, my Dad, TJ, Derry, Bobby, Maki, Howard, John Cartelli, Tennessee, Dick, and all of the other Sunday regulars that have passed, will save me a spot on the stern up there. Tom and I were very saddened to hear of Doris' passing. I knew Doris through my brother Mike Fawley who worked for Roy and Doris for some time aboard the City of Redondo. I know she will be missed by many deckhands who were given jobs by her and Roy, and I am sure many of them went on to get their captain's license. To the lady in the galley 1957 when I first met her on the "City of Redondo " an through out the years when I grew up she was always there an Roy too. My deepest sympathy to Roy Peterson an to the Familys Members She well be missed But not forgotten.
