To Herb & family, Sorry I will not be able to come home for the funeral but my prayers are with you. Some of the memories I cherish are the school days when we walked to school and played along the way. Even though I was older than Doris, one day on the way home another boy was picking on me, Doris conked him on the head with a rock. She could whip most of the boys in school. Doris and I were baptized the same day in Hurricane creek. After our dad died, I always felt like my sisters and...

Dear Herb and family. Doris will be sadly missed at the suppers before lodge meetings. She contributed some fantastic recipes for the cookbook and I know she had tried every one of them. Doris was an awesome cook and enjoyed every minute of prep time. We loved to sit and chat while the men were in their meeting and I bet we had more fun than they did.
