Doris and I had a wonderful relationship. I knew she loved me when she shared a special recipe that I asked for to make for Tom's birthday. It was a treasured poundcake recipe. She also shared her talent for storytelling and writing. She wrote and recorded a collection of adventures featuring Michael, Olivia, and the pets in all the stories.
