My grandmother holds a special place in my heart. She was there when I needed her the most and when I just wanted to chat in between. She never forgot a holiday, graduation, birthday or anniversary, and always made the effort to be there with a card, a gift or phone call. With Mom and my Uncles, she always found a way to come and visit, from Maryland to Texas and Ohio. I always wished we lived closer. And now, I had hoped we would have had more time.
