Not sure what to say?

I lived up the street from the Roof family, I am so sorry about their loss. As a little girl I always wished she was my mom...I too have lost both parents and siblings. My sister Kathy and Doris had been very close at one time. Kathy passed in July I am sure they have reunited again. My prayers are with you.

Doris was my daughter JoAnne's mother in law and my son in law Randys Mom. We had some great "get togethers, shared Randy and Jacob, which I am sure we spoiled just a little. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Keep the wonderful memories close to your heart. She was a great lady.

Doris Roof is my Grandma. She was a great woman and always went out of her way to always care for me and others. She was a great friend and I am going to miss her.

I worked with Doris at NMH, in fact, she hired me for a job there in 1981. She was like a mother to me, very caring and always smiling. I have not seen here in a few years but thought about her so very much. Just found out today that she passed, now I wish I made the time to go and visit her. I will miss her deeply

I am a friend of Nancys and live in Salt Lake. I have known her for only a few short years, yet I have come to love her as if I have known her forever.
We went to Europe a couple of years ago and she was such a delight to be with. She spoke so highly of her mother and what a wonderful person she was. My thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to all of the family. Keep your mother, grandmother and friend in your mind and your heart. Peace be with you.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Doris. Doris and Ed were both great friends of my parents.
Although I haven't seen her in years I often think of the family when visiting my father. I remember great times that our families shared together. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be surely missed by everyone.
My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the family. She'll be smiling down on you all everyday
Love,
Kathy (kent) and Tim Fagan and...

My daughter Eileen is married to Doris' nephew Carl Ross. I had meet Doris many times at family parties and also knew her through Sussex County Transit where I work. She always greeted me and my husband with such graciousness. She was caring and concerned about her friends that rode the senior bus. I always enjoyed seeing her. My condolences to the family.

We are friends of Nancy's, and very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and grandmother.
Although we never met her, we believe we have some knowledge of her through Nancy. She must have been a truly lovely lady. Her love of life, kindness, and thoughtfulness continues to live in Nancy. She gave us a great gift in Nancy's friendship, which we cherish.
Our prayers and good thoughts are with all of you at this time. We hope you find some consolation in knowing that she did not...
