RUPP, Doris R. (Seitz) - Of Swartz Creek, age 81, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Don Albright officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Doris was born in Flint, Michigan on June 22, 1929, the daughter of Orla and Mildred Barber. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Surviving are husband, Jack Rupp; five sons, Danny and Sheri Seitz, Greg and Sue Seitz, Curt Seitz, Mike and Pam Rupp and John Rupp; five grandchildren, Traci, Tanda, Shannon, Justin and Eric; 11 great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Charles Seitz; her granddaughter, Dania; sister, Ethel and brother, Donald.
