Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of Doris Marie Isaak Seibert:

As I watched my once-brilliant mother's mental deterioration, I recalled her lifelong fear of Alzheimer's Disease. For years, she told us, perhaps not totally joking, "If I ever get Alzheimer's, just load up my backpack and point me in the direction of Mt. Hood!"
My mother was a family icon - the perfect Grandma. Warm and loving to friend or stranger, A-student or delinquent, she served as comforter to all - an earthly example of God's...

Hello from Iowa,

I am updating my Isaak family history this Sunday morning with Doris Seibert obit. It is a cold Sunday morning just like the usual cold windy winter days from Doris South Dakota Days during her childhood. The Ssndcastle memories will remain a special place in our hearts of my family. It was always wonderful to have an invite to the SandCastle, curl up with a book, or take a bike ride along the Ocean with my son James. We love you Doris.

Your cousin and...

Doris was well known and extremely well liked by both faculty and students at MacLaren. I count myself fortunate to know Doris during the time we both worked at MacLaren. Doris, I will always remember how you always had good things to say about just everyone.
You were a mentor for me as I was learning to work with incarcerated youth. Doris, you were loved much, and will be missed greatly.

Dear Doris and family, I was so glad to have talked to you at Thanksgiving time. I will miss your sense of humor and your smile. I first met Doris in 1988 when I got interested in Isaak family History and the German-Russian heritage. Doris was able to provide me with family information which led me to find lost Isaak branches in American Falls Iowa and also in Canada. Our memories of the Sand Castle with Art and Doris during our visits with my children and grandchildren through the years....

I worked with Doris at MacLAren until she retired. When Dennis and I got married 13 years ago, Doris offered us the use of the Sand Castle for a weekend Honeymoon. The day we drove to the coast was typical for Fall with short squalls going over. I remember that just as I was regreting the rainy weather the sun came out and gave us a rainbow, the start of a wonderful weekend at the Sand Castle. It was especially nice that we were able to browse through the Sand Castle Guest Book and to add...
