Dawn I am so sorry for your loss

From high school and beyond, I spent a lot of time at Debra's house. Mrs. Shirley was like a second Mother to me. Always very kind and welcoming to me, when I know there were times that she probably wondered if I had a home of my own. The only time she ever looked at me crossways or raised her voice at me was when I said something about Bear Bryant that she didn't like. She told me very quickly that she loved me like I was one of her own, but if ever said anything about Bear Bryant again...

Childhood friend of Debra as our parents were friends. We were LITTLE kids then! Deepest sympathies, Debra and all.

To the Shirley Family,

I have very fond memories of Ms. Doris from when we worked together at McRae's in the Bridal Registry Department. She was always very nice and friendly to me and I will forever appreciate that. My God Bless you and keep you during this time.
