Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to hear of Doris's passing. Doris and I had a wonderful friendship in our early married years...and lived, not only as neighbors once, but twice, ending up on Hamilton Road until I moved to Naples, and she moved to Elbridge. I will always remember our liquid lunches, our laugh fests, and the wonderful times we had with D & E Drywall, picnics in mid-winter, and all those wonderful parties. I still tell the tale of her soaking pickels in her bathtub after planting a garden...

I was so sorry to hear of Doris's battle with cancer and of her death. I grew up with Doris. We lived next door to her. We had the best times together, we even had walkie talkies that we put from her bedroom window, stretched across the driveway to my bedroom window. I remember numerous times when we would go to her house after school and cook bow tie macaroni and eat it with just butter on it. I have alot of memories of times shared with Doris and our other friends. I am sorry that we lost...

My sincere sympathy goes out to all who knew Doris. As a child I lived across the street from her and Geoff. I will never forget Her wit and kindness. She will be sadly missed by all that knew and cared for her.

Dear James and family,
I became acquainted with Doris through high school days. As time passed, we became good friends in our college days. Doris always made me laugh!! She was our organizer and fun person to be with. Seeing her around Jordan and Elbridge always met a lengthy conversation with lots of laughs. I will miss her smile around our community. God Bless You, Doris. Love, Suzy

Ms. Simone was one of the most incredible people I have ever encountered. She was full of laughs and loved every one of us. She was there for me through alot, and was always willing to listen. She would always give me the confidence to work to my best abilities, and was always someone to talk to. I remember she always had a candy jar and would always make sure she had the "good stuff" in there, and when I came in, she would go in her secret drawer and pull out some chocolate or some goodies....

Dear James & family,

We are very sorry for your loss. Doris was a very nice lady & was always very kind & welcoming to our sons, Charlie & John. Charlie's presence there this week represents those of us who can't be there to share your grief but also to celebrate Doris' life. Our prayers are with you.

Sincerely,

Jim, Kate, Charlie & John Spinoso

All my love, Doris...You left us with many wonderful memories.

Dear Jamie and family members,
I will miss Doris, as I know you are. She was very special and a joy to know. She was smart, fun, a good cook an all around great person. I will always remember her with fondness. Her hedgehog, her laugh, her warmth. Love you Doris!!!
I hope you, Jamie, can take comfort in the fact that all your mom's friends are your friends. We will help if we can. You have wonderful memories which will sustain you in the years to come with the knowledge of...
