Dody ran the choir at St. Mary's for years. My mother and Irish tenor Moe Howard sang under her direction. They used the old St. Basil's Hymnal. the choir has never sounded better.

I knew her when I was at myers corners school, and everyone loved her, she was a grand person and friend to all, love lucy bostwick

Mrs Simons was an amazing woman. I have countless memories of her at Meyers Corners elementary and at St Mary's. She was truly remarkable. Children loved her and her community was fortunate to count her among them. Many thanks to her family for sharing her with us all. My deepest condolences to you.

Mrs. Simons retired when I was a sixth grade student at Meyers Corners. I am thankful to have experienced her passion for teaching. Congratulations on a long, meaningful life, Mrs. Simons!
