My mom was truly an amazing mom. I have never known anyone in this world that loved me so unconditionally. It is the closest thing I've ever experienced in this life that comes close to the love of God. Even on my worst days, at my most selfish or depressed or angry, she loved me. John says in 1John 3:1, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!" I feel that way about mom. She lavished her love on each one who knew her.
