Doris Margaret Soper

Coach Soper, please accept these thoughts of sympathy on the death of your wife, Doris. Getting this news along with the photo of the two of you brought back some fond memories. Even before Ottawa Hills H.S. years, you two moved into that new house out Kalamazoo Ave...and became favorite GR Press customers of mine. I never knew Doris but her husband taught me mechanical and architectural drawings in school. As wonderful a man as he was, I’m sure she must have been the same. Our thoughts are with the family.

So sorry to hear about Doris, she was awesome. We always enjoyed all her stories about when her and Bud were young. Keeping all of the family in our prayers.

Ui never new Doris but Mr. Soper was my very favorite teacher. I loved shop class and to this day I remember some of the things he taught me. Blessings and prayer to him and the family. I hope he knows how much he was loved. So glad to know he is still alive!!

This is a message for Lloyd: Very sorry to hear of the passing of your wife. You were my favorite teacher at Ottawa Hills in 1956-1959. My fathers told me your wife use to baby sit me before you were married.
