Send FlowersDoris (LaPlant) Soucy, 72, of Campbell St., Fall River,
died Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Saint Anne's Hospital.
She was the wife of Normand Soucy.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter
of the late Joseph LaPlant and Claire (Caron) LaPlant Gauthier.
She was a floorlady for Bo Mar Manufacturing Co. and an employee of the Canning Boulevard Stop and Shop.
Besides her husband of 52 years, survivors include
a son, Robert Soucy and his wife Christine of Charlestown, RI;
2 granddaughters, Amber Soucy of Narragansett, RI
and Autumn Soucy of Wakefield, RI;
a brother, Rene LaPlant of Fall River
and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late
Norman LaPlant and Roger Gauthier
and the stepdaughter of the late Joseph N. Gauthier.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church,
Thomas St. at 10:00.
Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Large parking area and barrier-free entrance
to the rear of funeral home.
