Nancy, Janice, and family. My condolences on the passing of your mother and family matriarch. My memories of her, as well as Ed, go back to my childhood, growing up down the street on Linda Vista. She was part of the collective set of parental eyes and attention, that allowed the children of the neighborhood to walk safely to and from school, and to play freely, and with full imagination, throughout the neighborhood. Oh my gosh! Such a light Doris was. I knew Doris from University Hospital from the late 70´s on. She was a jewel. She had such a great laugh and was a lover of life. Our days were always a bit brighter after Doris´ shift. Rest in peace Doris, your life on earth was very well spent. My sympathy to your family and friends.
