She served for the last twenty four years at Jordan Christian Academy, where she touched many lives.  She loved her students very much, and would make a difference in their lives.  Doris was a faithful member of Jordan Baptist Church and will be greatly missed.  She was very adventurous and wasn’t scared to live life to the fullest.  Even at age 65, she went skydiving in Hawaii…… to know Doris was to love her, she showed kindness and love to everyone she came in contact with.

Doris is survived by her four children, Stephan Brock of Albany, KY, Buddy (Sydney) Brock of Lexington,  James (Tabitha) Brock Jr. of Eubank, KY, Misty (Tom) Garner of Somerset; eleven grandchildren, Megan (Erik), Tonya, Ally, Cody, Caleb, Payton, Treavor, Kora, Kasen, Kinsley and Kailyn; four great grandchildren, Skylar, Maya, Lincoln and Elijah; a very special brother-in-law, Randol Brock, whom she loved like her own child, two brothers, Bro. Billy (Christy) Miller, Bobby (Glenna) Miller; two sisters, Dianne (Murrell) Godby and Debra Collier as well as extended family, church family and neighbors who are saddened by her passing.

In addition to her parents, Bill and Eunice Miller, Doris was preceded in death by one sister, Darline Persinger.

Billy Miller and Bro. T.J. Godby officiating.  Burial will be at the Sinking Creek Cemetery, London, KY.

I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this wonderful lady who had left us. But one thing I can say, she truly was a woman of God and I have no doubt where she is. I will miss her presence. Such a lovely, beautiful lady. Gone but not forgotten. Prayers and hugs to the family. Amanda

So sorry for your loss! I knew Doris whe we were teens and thought of her often over the years. May God comfort you in this time of loss.

Thank you for the love and kindness you always showed to my kids and our family.

So sorry for your family’s loss. She was an extraordinary woman. Genuine in her kindness and meaning in her words. Always greeted with a hug from her. In her busy life she would always tell me ‘now if you need me to come over and watch your mom so you can have a break I will’. Never wanting anything in return. I can go on and on but everyone knows. She was love. She will be missed. Prayers to the family
