Doris was such a wonderful, loving, talented, humorous person. The stories she could tell certainly made ya laugh and most of them were true stories and she was the star in most of them. Doris taught 2 of my grandangels in her CCD classes over the years at St. Thomas and we sang in the choir together. We had many fun and funny adventures together. Doris was one of a kind…a real Jewel! We all have a special ”Guardian Angel” watching over us now. Doris, tell God the story about the time...

While I knew Doris only through our occasional phone conversations and prayer line for Secular Franciscans, I will miss her deeply. She was a very caring person. I am sure she rejoices in heaven today and will continue to pray for those of us left behind.
