Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Wood was my 5th grade teacher at HV Bear, what a year it was! That was the year of the Teacher Strike, my sweet 4th grade teacher took me over and introduced me to Mrs.Wood on the picket line. For a “mean” teacher she was really nice. Mrs. Wood was my 3rd grade teacher and made a memorable impression on me. I was fortunate enough to see her several times over the years as an adult and I respected her even more. My condolences to her family and friends. She was a special lady to so many.

She was a honored member of the Bear School Ladies Luncheon that was once a month for quite awhile. I will remember her fondly and miss her forever.

This is the moment that planted a seed for a dream I fulfilled 10 years later when I hiked from Georgia to Maine in 1997. I was happy to...
