Not sure what to say?

I met Doris at MGC and knew right away she was an extraordinary person. She became a dear friend who was in my wedding in '92, and I was in hers in '93. We stayed in touch until just a few years ago. I just learned of the tragic news two weeks ago and have been reeling ever since. I offer my heartfelt sympathy to her family (whom she loved dearly). Few people are as kind and wonderful as Doris. God bless all of you at this very difficult time. May it bring you some comfort to know that many...

To Mrs. Spillers and Family:
I am truly sorry to find out about Doris. As you know Mr. Wilbur's favorite words were "LOOK A HERE" well, she's in heaven with him. So, I'm sure she will be missed but you will carry her in your hearts everyday. May God Bless you and your family and try and be strong for her children. Mrs. Melonee N. Miller

I was very saddened to hear about the death of Doris. I was priviledged to have had her as a student in high school. She was a beautiful person inside and out. My prayers are with all of the family and the community at this very sad time. Faye Lester

During our years on ministry staff at FBC Ft. Valley, Doris was in our youth group and choir from 1979-1986. She was one of the most precious girls we ever knew. Watching her mature in her faith in Christ during those years and then, just 2 years ago at a Touch of Glory reunion, seeing that she still walked closely with the Lord is a comforting reminder that she now celebrates in Heaven in the direct presence of her Savior. We are richer for having known her.

I learned yesterday evening of Doris' passing and am so sad to think the world is without such a sweet person whose smile and voice I remember well as a childhood friend in Fort Valley and the sister of my pal, Leann. There are no words for the unfairness of her loss. I wish peace for Mrs. Spillers and all of her family. May God bless them.

I am so saddened by the loss of a very special person. My heart goes out to the family, especially the children. May you find strength and comfort through the many wonderful memories of Doris. I will always remember her beautiful smile and giving spirit. My prayers are with you during this difficult and sorrowful time.

I went to Middle Ga. College and the University of Georgia with Doris. She was a wonderful friend! She was one of the kindest friends I have ever known. I have so many memories of all the fun times we had in college and even after college. She will be missed but she will never be forgotten! My thoughts and prayers to all the family. Regina Ray

MS BETH AND LEANNE, I CAN'T EXPRESS THE SORROW I FEEL FOR YOU AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY. I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL LATE FRIDAY NIGHT. MY PRAYERS WILL CONTINUE FOR YOU. WE LOVE YOU...

There are no words to say, only sincere prayers that those who took such a beautiful life will see the hope and peace that you still hold in your heart. You will forever miss her and long for her to be with those sweet babies. God will be all you have on those days. He will be everything you need.
