Not sure what to say?

We have been Dot's next-door neighbors since 1988. Whether we were talking trees or walking our dog, Oscar, who was very fond of her, Dot brought warmth and wit to every conversation that made Mosier Street a neighborhood. We were lucky enough to share in her 100th birthday celebration and toast her with a margarita. We'll miss her very much!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.Nice friendly person. I remember them at the St Theresa musicals when I was young and in the children´s choir with my family. My dad and brothers were the scene guys and my mom and sister were in the children´s choirs. What a lot of fun times

I got to know Dot through my sister and brother-in-law. Over the years, I would run into Dot and Jack at various celebrations and get togethers, always enjoying their repartee. They were so funny together. Dot was one of those people that made you feel the full center of her attention when she was speaking with you. In my mind's eye she will always be beautifully coiffed and dressed for every occasion. After Jack passed, our communication was reduced to holiday cards and postcards from my...

Kate - your mom was so special, as you know, she never stopped complimenting me over the years about how I was so beautiful like my mother ... I always responded, that God Joann not Chuck! We always chuckled with love.

I´m missing my friend of over 25 years. Dotty was an amazing lady, so determined to overcome all odds, living life her way.

Very sad to hear of the passing of my friend Dot ....She always was smiling , laughing and enjoying every day .....Her husband John was a fantastic cartoonist and he made Dot's life joyful and happy every day with his infectious Irish wit and stories .....At 100 years old , Dot lived a life well lived .....May God watch over her and John

Dot Barry was a friend of my family since her high school days. She knew my parents and even my grandparents well and she and Jack were always so thoughtful to us. The extent of Dot´s care for others and insights about life were rare. I am missing her today.

Kate, Keeping you and your family in our prayers here at OLBS Parish - Westfield.
