Not sure what to say?

My mother, Carmella, was a "roommate" with Dorothea at the Life Care Center until her death in July. My mother was just shy of 100; but Dorothea was the "caregiver". She looked after my mother, tucked her in, kept her blankets straight and made sure she "ate something". What a dear, sweet lady. We loved and admired her and were so grateful for her attention to my mother. She will be remembered by all Carmella's children. God rest her soul.

Dorothea was my favorite up on the Nantucket unit. Whenever i saw her she always had a smile on her face,a kind word and an offering of a handshake or hug. I shared things in my own life with her such as pictures from my recent wedding and was completly taken back when I arrived at work one day to find that she wanted me to have a piece of china as a gift, that had once belonged to her.along with a beautifully written card.I will always hold these things close to my heart when i look at them...

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

We all loved Dorothea very much, and she will be greatly missed. Dorothea is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I only knew her for the last few years, but I know she lived life to the fullest. God bless you, Dorothea.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
