I lived on the same block as the Baker's when I was ages ten to fourteen. During that time my younger brother, Jim, became friends for life with Tom Baker. I admired Dorothy as the kind of woman I hoped to grown into. She was the kind of loving family woman and kind neighbor that made everyone glad to know her. I'm glad she was blessed with a long life. I feel grateful to have known her and her family and continue to be inspired by her.
